Job summary

Huntington Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Patient Relations Liaison Per Diem to be the main point of contact for patients and families in the ED. The role focuses on proactive support, clear communication, and service recovery to enhance the patient experience.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other teams to remove barriers to care, create a welcoming environment, and support efficient department operations. Prior ED exposure and bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical patient care in an acute setting; CNA may substitute for experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients and families in the ED.
• Support communication and service recovery throughout the department.
• Assist with removing barriers to care and ensuring a welcoming, compassionate patient experience.
