Job summary

Best Upon Request Corporate, Inc. is seeking an ED Patient Concierge to support emergency department patients, families, and guests from arrival through discharge.

This active, on-the-move role rounds waiting areas, hallways, and patient rooms to anticipate non-clinical needs and make every visit personal, not transactional. Responsibilities include facilitating arrival and admissions, coordinating transportation, delivering comfort items, assisting with notary services and patient portal setup,

Qualifications

• One year in fast-paced customer service (healthcare or hospitality a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Data entry accuracy and ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Arrival & Waiting Room — welcome and round on patients and guests, provide comfort items and wayfinding.
• Admission Assistance — relocate vehicles, retrieve items from home, unload and deliver belongings.
• Bedside Care & Comfort — welcome visits, follow-up on call lights, provide blankets, water, meals, device charging, notary services and patient portal setup.
• Advocacy & Communication — connect patients with staff and provide micro updates to families.
