Job summary

Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Access Services for the Emergency Department to oversee frontline registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and patient experience. This full-time role reports to the Manager of Patient Access Services and ensures accurate workflows, regulatory compliance, and staff performance across ED and related areas.

• Experience in patient access or front-end revenue cycle in healthcare.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities in ED and related areas.
• Monitor productivity and quality, coach staff in real time.
• Escalate issues to Manager and coordinate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical units to resolve access issues.
