Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient experience using CARES, AIDET and EPE tools.

Education

High school diploma/GED and related basic requirements

6 months healthcare experience or 1 year customer service

2 week Patient Access Academy with 85% (within 6 months)

CHAA/CHAM or equivalent certification preferred

Basic insurance understanding

Medical terminology and billing codes (DRG, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)

Registration and healthcare knowledge

Keyboarding skills

Microsoft Office proficiency

EPIC proficiency test with 85%

Minimum age 18
