Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Colorado is seeking experienced Emergency Department Float Pool Registered Nurses. You will support patient care across ED and other acute areas, float to units as needed and collaborate with trauma teams and physicians.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork in a high-acuity setting. A BSN is required and BLS certification is necessary. Full-time, day or night shifts with a 10% float differential are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN degree required; degree will be verified.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in emergency care environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and initiate interventions.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide care to patients with a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and emergency conditions.
