Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department Float Pool. You will float to ED and other acute areas, delivering fast, evidence-based care in a high‑acuity environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice with compact licenses transferable within 60 days.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• BSN required; degree verified.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in fast-paced emergency environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate interventions as needed.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interprofessional teams.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per policy.
