Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in the United States is seeking a System Design Engineer to join our EcoPlant team, focusing on sustainability and advanced control systems. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years industrial controls support.
Experience designing system architecture for industrial systems.
2+ years IoT networking and data security understanding; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales technical expert support and assist in customer calls.
Answer architecture and data security protocol questions.
Site survey to qualify or design a solution for a complex installation.
Design system architecture for new installations; produce BOM and P&ID.
Provide tech specs to Ecoplant Engine team to finalize Dynamic Engine design.
Build customer dashboards and support remote installation teams.
Create post-deployment technical documentation (as-builts, mappings, integration details).
Manage post-install troubleshoot and escalation to PM and R&D.
Liaise with product management for feedback and roadmap.
Support training and onboarding of new associates.
