• An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Economic Stability Analysts and Specialists, including training staff, resolving disputes, approving leave, and conducting evaluations.
• Lead the resolution of complaints and conflicts related to program participation by interviewing complainants and ensuring timely outcomes.
• Review staff work and case records to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in determining eligibility benefits.
• Identify error trends through case reviews, develop corrective action plans, and provide targeted training.
• Monitor and manage workflow by retrieving assignments and distributing cases to staff for timely processing.
• Interpret policies and provide guidance to staff with up-to-date program regulations and ongoing training.

Eligibility and Experience Requirements

• Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties

• Supervise Economic Stability Analysts and Specialists, including training staff, resolving employee and client disputes, approving leave, and conducting performance evaluations across assigned units or multiple parishes.
• Lead the resolution of complaints and conflicts related to program participation by interviewing complainants, investigating issues, and ensuring timely and appropriate outcomes.
• Review staff work and case records to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in determining eligibility benefits.
• Identify error trends through case reviews, develop and implement corrective action plans, and provide targeted training to improve staff performance and program compliance.
• Monitor and manage workflow by retrieving assignments from the LITE Unassigned Queue and distributing cases to staff to ensure timely processing.
• Interpret policies and provide guidance to staff by maintaining current knowledge of program regulations, collaborating with regional consultants, and delivering ongoing training and professional development.
