Safeway seeks an eCommerce Operations Manager to drive performance for Home Delivery and Drive Up & Go. You will lead field teams, oversee fleets, and partner with leadership to hit metrics like on-time delivery and picks per hour.

The role requires 5+ years in retail operations, cross-functional collaboration, and strong data interpretation to drive improvements. Expect a dynamic, customer-focused environment with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of Retail Management Certificate Program preferred.
• 5+ years of retail operations/logistics/supply chain experience, including managing third party providers, preferably in eCommerce.
• Experience leading across leadership levels and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to read data and translate it into actionable items.

Responsabilités

• Drive P&L results and operational metrics for eCommerce, including Home Delivery and Drive Up & Go.
• Lead drivers and Home Shopping Department Managers to meet key metrics like on-time tiling, on-time delivery, picks per hour, and OTST.
• Lead field teams through expansion and environmental changes.
• Review eCommerce goals and performance with store leadership to grow the business and remove growth roadblocks.
• Partner with Region Director of eCommerce on launching innovative strategies and programs.
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, efficiency, and service across expanding operations.
• Promote a culture of exceptional customer service among frontline eCommerce staff.
• Manage, interview, hire, and schedule 50+ employees; provide ongoing recognition, coaching, and mentoring.
• Oversee fleet of 30+ delivery trucks, including maintenance and safety; investigate accidents and claims.
