Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to engage hundreds of customers across online, phone, and in-store channels in our no-haggle sales environment. You will respond to inquiries quickly, guide vehicle selections, and help close deals while ensuring an exceptional overall experience.

You’ll drive loyalty by follow-up, transitioning customers to the Service department, and supporting ownership post-purchase.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers online, over the phone and in person to guide vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads promptly and provide information to move customers from contact to in-store experience.
• Negotiate terms to fit customer budgets and guide them to close the deal.
• Follow up after purchase to ensure satisfaction and transition to Service department.
