Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an ECMO Specialist to operate and maintain the ECMO circuit for patients requiring long-term pulmonary or cardiac support. You will work under the ECMO Physician and Coordinator, monitor patients, perform pump maintenance, and participate in planning care with the health care team.

RN or Respiratory Therapist with ICU experience preferred, with flexibility for days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU or Critical Care experience as RN or RT.
• Two years ICU/CC experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain ECMO circuit and equipment.
• Work under ECMO Physician/Coordinator direction in planning and delivery of care.
• Monitor patient status and ECMO circuit; manage pump; identify and correct problems.
