Job summary

HECO is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth across Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships, and help customers solve maintenance challenges.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of outside industrial B2B sales, with proven prospecting and closing ability, and the capacity to travel ~80% with CRM-driven pipeline discipline. Join a team focused on long-term value and sector leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside industrial B2B sales experience.
• Proven success prospecting and closing new customer accounts.
• Experience selling to multiple stakeholders within industrial organizations.
• Strong CRM and pipeline management skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80%, typically four days per week in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new industrial accounts across the defined region.
• Build relationships with maintenance, engineering, operations, and plant leadership.
• Identify customer challenges and propose value-driven solutions.
• Manage complex sales cycles from outreach through contract award.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical experts and field teams to support needs.
• Transition established accounts to account management as relationships mature.
