Job summary

Kairos IT is seeking a Field Technician to serve the East Bay area, delivering hands-on hardware and network support for our clients. You will own the device lifecycle from onboarding to decommissioning and assist with on-site visits, problem solving, and knowledge base contributions.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in field tech roles within MSPs, experience with endpoint imaging, ITSM ticketing, and ITIL concepts, plus a valid license and ability to lift 50 lbs. CompTIA A+ is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a field technician or related role in an MSP environment.
• Hands-on endpoint provisioning and ITSM ticketing experience.
• Proficiency in endpoint imaging and deployment tools (Autopilot/Intune/Jamf/WDS).
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs; ITIL familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee device lifecycle management from onboarding to decommissioning, including shipping logistics.
• Perform on-site hardware and network troubleshooting as needed.
• Resolve support tickets efficiently and ensure client satisfaction.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base with solutions and best practices.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations.
