Job summary

Thompson Machinery, a Caterpillar dealer serving Middle and West Tennessee and North Mississippi, seeks an Associate Sales Representative to drive Earthmoving sales initiatives. The role entails territory alignment with MSR, lead generation, and coordinating demonstrations while supporting customers and internal teams.

The ASR will train in Lavergne, TN, and then operate from the Nashville home store. Candidates should have a high school diploma, sales aptitude, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College graduate or technical preferred with minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Exhibits sales skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Cold calling outbound lead generation for infrequent buyers
• Servicing walk-in traffic and inbound leads
• Centralized quoting for MSR and retail displays
• Assists with communication between customers and other departments
• Helps coordinate demonstrations and service loaners
• Closing administration
• MSR CRM sales funnel management
