Job summary

JCPenney in North Olmsted is hiring an Operations Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience. This early-morning role works with a team to perform critical store operations before opening, including customer service, pricing, restocking, unloading merchandise, and maintaining backroom standards.

You will contribute to omnichannel efforts and execute merchandising plans with attention to detail, ensuring the right styles and sizes are available for customers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Ability to perform tasks before store opening.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Execute pricing and signing accurately and quickly.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to meet customer demand.
• Receive and unload shipments and organize backroom.
• Maintain clean, safe backroom standards.
• Support omnichannel tasks including BOPIS, ship-from-store, returns and online orders.
• Implement merchandising plans to improve space utilization and drive sales.
• Engage in ongoing learning from peers and training materials.
