Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by performing essential store operations before opening. This early morning role supports a team as merchandise moves to the floor and the sales floor stays clean and organized.

You will handle pricing and signing, restock merchandise, unload shipments, support omnichannel programs, and help maintain merchandising standards to ensure customers find what they need.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Customer service skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Execute pricing and signing across the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to floor levels.
• Receive and unload shipments and prepare backroom stock.
• Maintain backroom standards: safety, cleanliness and organization.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Returns).
