Springfield YMCA is seeking a friendly Membership Representative to greet members, answer questions, and promote memberships. This part-time position requires dependable, personable individuals who enjoy helping others and maintaining a welcoming lobby.

You will open the facility at 4:45 am on Wed–Thu, handle cash for memberships, update member records, and support a safe, positive environment in line with YMCA policies. Prior customer service experience is valued.

• Must complete required trainings.

• Provide excellent service to members and guests to aid retention.
• Conduct interviews and tours and sell memberships.
• Build relationships and help members connect with the YMCA.
• Handle and resolve membership concerns; inform supervisor as needed.
• Manage cash drawer for membership sales accurately.
• Enter/update member information in the computer system.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties to support the YMCA.
