The Springfield YMCA is seeking a friendly, customer-service oriented Membership Representative to join our Membership Team. The role focuses on welcoming members and guests, promoting memberships and programs, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced front-desk environment.

This part-time position requires dependable, personable individuals who can open early (4:45am on select days), handle cash, maintain lobby areas, and help create a positive community experience at the Springfield

• Minimum age of 16.
• Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED, and First Aid within 60 days of hire.
• Complete required trainings.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers excellent service to members, guests, and program participants and responds to member needs.
• Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains lobby cleanliness and organization.
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA.
• Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
• Follows and applies YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures; completes incident reports as necessary.
• Opens, maintains and closes cash drawer for membership sales in an accurate manner.
• Enters/updates member information into computer system and maintains member files.
• May monitor the locker rooms as required.
• Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.
• Attends all staff meetings and trainings.
• Performs other duties as needed to support Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County.

Salary Range: $12.00 To $14.00 Hourly

The Springfield YMCA is seeking a friendly, welcoming, and customer-service-oriented individual to join our Membership Team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, creating a positive experience for members/guests, and provides excellent customer service. Must be available to open the YMCA at 4:45am (Wednesday-Thursday). If you're dependable, personable, and ready to make a difference in our community, we'd love to hear from you!

POSITION SUMMARY

Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; sells memberships.
