Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Mary Stuart Gile Early Learning Center. This full-time, non-exempt role supports children six weeks to kindergarten and works with student teachers in a laboratory school setting.

You will engage with children, assist with curriculum and observations, and help maintain health, safety, and classroom organization across multiple classrooms.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Some knowledge of child development and educational theories.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with children and assist teachers with observations.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a healthy classroom environment.
• Support curriculum implementation and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate member/child records and communicate with families.
