Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire seeks an energetic, organized Associate Teacher for the Mary Stuart Gile Early Learning Center on the NHTI campus in Concord. This full-time role supports children and teachers, upholding the BGCCNNH mission and ensuring health and safety in the classroom.

You will engage with children, assist with organization and documentation, and help develop emergent curriculum.

Qualifications

• Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017.
• Minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or 1000 hours of supervised child care experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications per licensing requirements; willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success by creating developmentally appropriate activities and guiding curriculum.
• Engage with children, keep records, and maintain health and safety standards.
• Supervise staff, practicum students, and volunteers, providing feedback.
• Maintain open communication with families and colleagues.
