Job summary

OWBC offers an Early Head Start Teacher role focused on planning and organizing a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0 to 3. You will implement curriculum, develop lesson plans, and work under supervision to promote developmental milestones with guidance from directors and coordinators.

Responsibilities include coordinating conferences, engaging families, and documenting progress while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Head Start licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and adherence to safety policies.
• Coordinate and conduct parent-teacher conferences and home visits.
• Assist with daily educational activities and communicate with parents.
• Assess health and behaviors of children.
• Plan and present daily instructional activities with co-teacher and parents.
• Support individualized curriculum including IEP/IFSP goals.
• Maintain classroom organization and documentation.
• Record observations and keep weekly reports and documentation.
