Child Start Inc. is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to promote the social, emotional, intellectual, language and physical development of children aged infant to 3 years in a safe, supervised classroom.

This 12-month position requires collaboration with families to set goals that support school readiness, adherence to developmentally sound curricula, and a professional, flexible approach in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDA (Infant/Toddler) or AA/BA in Early Childhood-related field.
• Positive, motivating and energetic personality.
• Professionalism and flexibility in a changing environment.
• Must pass all criminal history background checks.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, emotional, intellectual, language and physical development of infants to 3-year-olds in a safe, supervised classroom.
• Involve parents in program planning, establishing long- and short-term readiness goals.
• Ensure the classroom curriculum aligns with research-based, sound child development principles.
• Work in a 12-month position with adherence to program guidelines.
