Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare is seeking a Lead Teacher for its Early Head Start program to plan, assess, and instruct based on each child's needs and Head Start guidelines. You will mentor fellow Teachers and lead curriculum implementation in a supportive, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Lead Teacher must plan, assess and instruct based on each child's needs and Head Start requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old for the program.
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and center policies.

Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3 years old, parent involvement and family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.
