Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teacher for its Early Head Start program to plan, assess, and instruct children from birth to 3 years old. You will create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers, and you will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation in line with licensing and Head Start requirements.

You will build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child's development and the center's success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.
