Arizona Early Head Start is seeking a Lead Teacher to plan, assess, and instruct based on each child’s needs within Head Start guidelines. This role emphasizes creating engaging learning experiences, mentoring peers, and maintaining strong relationships with families to support child achievement.
The position requires an Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler, with classroom leadership experience and ability to meet state education requirements.

Arizona Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3-years-old, parent involvement and family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.
