The role involves substitute teaching in the absence of regular teachers, along with parent communication and adherence to privacy policies. Preferred candidates hold a CDA or degree in early childhood, with hours logged in licensed settings or public schools.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or higher education in early childhood required.
• Hours/experience: 1,560 hours for CDA path or 1,040 hours for AA/BA/MA paths in licensed settings.
• Experience in licensed early childhood setting or public school system preferred.
• Willingness to learn program-specific systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff with daily activities and classroom management.
• Help implement activities aligned with Creative Curriculum and classroom goals.
• Support safety, hygiene, and supervision of children at all times.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Communicate with the classroom team per privacy policies.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies as trained under supervision.
