The position requires a CDA or higher credential with specified hours or an AA/BA/MA in Early Childhood Education or related field, plus hours of experience in licensed settings.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with computers and learning program-specific systems.
• CDA credential or higher with required licensed hours.
• Multiple degree options showing progression in Early Childhood Education.
• 1,040 hours experience for AA/BA/MA/MS routes (where applicable).
• MA/MS or higher demonstrates advanced understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Assists classroom staff with daily activities and classroom management.
• Implements activities around Creative Curriculum goals and interests.
• Maintains flexibility to follow children’s interests and guide direction.
• Leads activities as requested by teachers/leadership.
• Builds positive, professional relationships with parents.
• Knows medical conditions and how to respond to needs.
• Communicates with parents per Data Privacy policy.
• Tends to children’s personal hygiene and related needs.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by classroom staff or leadership.
