Qualifications

• AA degree with 12 education-related credits and 1,040 hours experience in an ECE setting.
• BA/BS with 12 education-related credits and 1,040 hours experience.
• MA/MS with 12 education-related credits and 1,040 hours experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff with daily activities and classroom management.
• Support activities aligned to the Creative Curriculum and classroom interests.
• Maintain flexibility to let children’s interests guide direction.
• Lead activities as requested by the teaching staff or center leadership.
• Establish positive relationships with parents and maintain professional boundaries.
• Know medical conditions of children and respond appropriately.
• Communicate with parents in line with Data Privacy policies.
• Attend to children’s hygiene and weather-appropriate dress.
• Perform other duties as requested.
