Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments may require two years of college, an associate degree, or demonstrated knowledge for instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc.
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery for individuals and small groups.
• Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during activities.
• Perform basic clerical work for the classroom teacher (typing, filing, data entry, supplies, etc.).
• Assist with field trips and other classroom events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
