Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Instructional Para Educator to support students under licensed staff supervision. You will help with basic curriculum work, prepare materials, monitor students, and reinforce discipline policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with tests, grading, attendance, and documentation, plus helping with field trips or drills. Position may involve working with behaviorally diverse students and requires strong collaboration with teachers.

Qualifications

• High school equivalency or diploma required.
• Certifications/licenses must be valid.
• Experience with instruction support is not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, administer tests, grade, take attendance, and document as needed.
• Assist students individually and in small groups to reinforce curriculum.
• Monitor behavior and reinforce classroom rules during activities and transitions.
• Perform basic clerical tasks: typing, filing, data entry, ordering supplies, and light bookkeeping.
• Assist with field trips or drills as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
