Job summary

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism in the Ontario, OH area. You’ll work 1:1 in clinic or in-home settings, using playful, high-energy methods to help kids reach their goals.

The role emphasizes active engagement, data collection, and collaboration with supervising BCBAs, plus family training and flexible scheduling with morning or afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children (daycare, camp, teaching) required.
• Licensed Practical Nurses with a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clinic or client homes in the Ontario area.
• Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we'll help you study).
• 40-hour Behavior Technician training course completed preferred but not required.

Early Childhood Behavior Technician – Ontario, OH

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism.

Location: Clinic and/or In-home (Ontario area)

Hours & Scheduling: We offer flexible scheduling to fit your life! Shift options include:

• Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Your Role:

• Be a Play-Maker: Work 1:1 with children in a clinic or in-home setting. You aren't just "monitoring"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.

• Support Families: Build trust with parents through parent training and consistent, upbeat communication.

Work Environment: This role is active! You must feel comfortable working inside client homes, visiting neighborhoods within the assigned territory, and supporting clinic-based needs as required. Flexibility and a high-energy "can-do" attitude are highly valued.

What You Bring:

• The "Spark": You are energetic, patient, and comfortable being "silly" to engage a child.

• Experience: Previous experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for working with children are also encouraged to apply!

• Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to the clinic and/or client homes in the Ontario area.

• Commitment to Growth: Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!).

• Training: Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.

• Active CPR certification is preferred.

Job Details:

• Pay: $17–$22/hr
