Job summary

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is hiring an Early Childhood Behavior Technician to serve Shelby, OH. The role is in-home, 20–40 hours weekly, with part‑time and full‑time options and a pay rate of $17–$22 per hour based on experience.

You will work 1:1 with children, using engaging, active teaching to improve communication, social cues, and daily living skills, while collecting progress data for BCBA supervision and supporting families with in-home coaching.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp, teaching, coaching, or similar).
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Shelby area.
• Commitment to growth: Passing RBT certification within 90 days of hire, with support provided.
• Training: 40-hour Behavior Technician training course preferred but not required to interview.

• Teach through Action: use high-movement methods to teach communication and daily living skills.

Compensation: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and certification status)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-4pm for full‑time or 12pm-4pm for part‑time!

Your Role

Work Environment: This role operates exclusively in the client’s home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned Shelby territory.

What You Bring

• Experience: 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.

• Training: Proof of completion of a 40‑hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
