Job summary

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking a Part-Time Early Childhood Behavior Technician to provide ABA therapy to children with autism in clients' homes in Tallmadge, OH. This role offers 20 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm schedule and competitive hourly pay.

You will work 1:1 with children, use high-energy play to teach communication and daily living skills, collect progress data, and collaborate with supervising BCBAs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we help with study costs).
• 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.

• Be a Play Leader: Work 1:1 with children in their homes. You aren’t just monitoring—actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.
• Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
• Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
• Support Families: Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support.

Work Environment:

This role operates exclusively in the client's home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned X territory.

What You Bring:

• The "Spark": You are naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable being high-energy to keep a child engaged and learning.

• Experience: 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.

• Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the X area.

• Commitment to Growth: Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!).

• Training: Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.

Job Details:
