Job summary

SparkJoy ABA, a Finni Health Company, seeks energetic Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy in clients’ homes in Shelby, OH. Join a clinician-led team focused on ethical care and meaningful outcomes.

You will work 20–40 hours per week, with part-time or full-time options, and must pass a background check. RBT certification within 90 days is required, with 40-hour training preferred to interview.

• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Shelby area.

Responsibilities

Early Childhood Behavior Technician (BT) – Shelby, OH
Location: In-person - Shelby, OH

Type: Part-time and Full-time options available
Compensation: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and certification status)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-4pm for full-time or 12pm-4pm for part-time!

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism.

Your Role:

• Be a Play Leader: Work 1:1 with children in their homes. You aren’t just \"monitoring\"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.




• Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.




• Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.




• Support Families: Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support.

Work Environment:

This role operates exclusively in the client's home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned Shelby territory.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.




• Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Shelby area.




• Commitment to Growth: Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!).




• Training: Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
