Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team in Peoria, AZ. You will partner with lead teachers to run a stimulating, safe classroom and support implementation of our LEAP Curriculum across infant to preschool levels.

You will help maintain a nurturing environment, engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, and regularly update families on progress using a mix of apps and in-person discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred.
• Must meet state guidelines and health/safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and partner with teachers to create a welcoming classroom.
• Support curriculum implementation and adapt activities for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
• Maintain safety and nurturing environment for children.
• Communicate with families about progress and milestones via apps and in-person meetings.
• Collaborate with center staff to support retention, enrollment and engagement.
• Build warm, positive relationships with families and colleagues.
