The Learning Experience Corp – Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support classrooms and help create a joyful, safe learning environment for children. You will partner with lead teachers to implement our LEAP Curriculum®, assist with routines from infants to preschoolers, communicate with families about progress, and contribute to enrollment and retention goals through teamwork.

Qualifications

• Educational background: High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
• State compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Immunizations and health and safety training as required by state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership: Partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
• Curriculum Implementation: Support teachers in implementing the LEAP Curriculum®, for Infants to Preschool.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Family Communication: Update parents on progress and milestones via apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: Work with staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Relationship Building: Foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
