Child Development Schools in Arizona is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join a collaborative teaching team dedicated to nurturing early childhood development. You will assist with hands-on activities, storytelling, and everyday learning moments to foster curiosity and confidence in young learners.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and commitment to safety.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with families.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
