Johnson Controls in Lincoln, RI is launching the Early Career Sales Engineering BEST Program, a 6-month development track for recent engineering graduates who want to start a career in technical sales.

From day one you’ll be paired with a mentor and supported by a nationwide sales team, gaining hands-on experience, classroom training, and exposure to HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions to drive customer performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively is expected.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program.
• Learn Johnson Controls’ HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions.
• Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners.
• Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability.
• Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
