Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mental health, psychology, counseling, sociology, human services, neuroscience or public health.
• 1–2 years equivalent experience.
• BSW/LSW preferred; 3–5 years preferred in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Manages the EAP intake process, including responding to phone and email inquiries, scheduling appointments with clinicians, answering questions, and assisting clients through intake.
• Assesses client situations, completes mental health screenings, and triages needs.
• Identifies physical limitations and deploys intervention when necessary.
• Identifies safety or risk concerns and consults with clinical team.
• Responds to requests from referrals, outreach, and urgent needs.
• Manages intake paperwork and ensures EHR files are accurate.
• Coordinates clinician schedules and appointment management.
• Connects employees with community referrals and maintains external relationships.
• Provides utilization metrics to supervisors and managers.
• Assists with planning and facilitation of EAP trainings/outreach.
• Provides population-appropriate communication and culturally sensitive service details.
• Recognizes signs of abuse or neglect and responds appropriately.
• Coordinates appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintains EHR system and records; prepares reports.
• Maintains a clean, private office; manages supplies.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; follows policies.
