Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital's Bath Health and Wellness Center seeks a Professional Health Coordinator for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The role includes assessment, case management, short-term counseling, and support for healthcare professionals with concerns such as substance use or mental health.

Caregivers in this role work four days on-site at Bath Health and Wellness and one day at Mercy, typically Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences required.
• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) required.
• Minimum five years of direct clinical services experience, including exposure to chemical dependency and psychiatric diagnoses.
• Experience in case management and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, coordination, case management and monitoring of mandatory participants, including licensed professionals.
• Provide consultation to hospital leadership on performance and employee issues.
• Provide short-term counseling and supportive services to voluntary participants.
• Assist with program promotion and awareness with hospital personnel and presentations.
• Staff critical cases with senior Caring for Caregivers leadership and relevant committees.
• Complete all documentation per professional and departmental standards.
