Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support EAE initiatives and customer projects in the U.S. You will demonstrate, train, and tailor EAE solutions for varied industrial applications.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python, JavaScript, and Docker/Kubernetes skills, plus 3+ years in automation. You’ll collaborate with country sales teams, develop integration libraries, and mentor System Integrators.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT Programming, or Code Development.
• Background as an Embedded Software Engineer with IT focus.
• Familiarity with IIoT and IT/OT convergence.
• Proficiency in OOP and Windows/Linux development environments.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, virtualization, and cybersecurity basics.
• Networking and communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT).
• Programming experience in C/C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Minimum 3 years in automation solution development and programming.

Responsibilities

• Showcase EAE features and conduct workshops to promote capabilities.
• Analyze customer needs and tailor demonstrations for real projects.
• Define code structures and develop library elements to ease use.
• Test architectures on-site with customers and sales teams.
• Guide customers through implementation, ensuring success and adoption.
• Document processes, capture use cases, and share best practices.
• Develop and train System Integrators as execution partners.
