Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Application Design Engineer – Customer Project Support in the United States to closely support customer project teams using EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). You will help reduce risk, accelerate deployment, and enable successful adoption across customer applications.

You will work across architecture definition, technical validation, and implementation support, acting as a trusted technical advisor and building reusable assets, guides, and best practices for

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in industrial automation, application engineering, system integration, controls engineering, or technical project delivery.
• Experience supporting customer projects from design through commissioning and startup.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in industrial automation environments.
• Experience with EcoStruxure Automation Expert or similar software‑defined automation platforms is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support customers, System Integrators, and project teams through the complete EAE project lifecycle.
• Assist project teams with application design, architecture decisions, implementation approaches, and deployment strategies.
• Help customers adopt EAE best practices and avoid common implementation pitfalls.
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure project readiness and successful execution.
• Support project teams during FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and production deployment.
• Develop reusable application templates, libraries, function blocks, and deployment guides.
