Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Application Design Engineer – Customer Project Support to act as a hands-on technical expert helping customers, system integrators, and project teams deliver EcoStruxure Automation Expert projects. You will reduce risk, accelerate deployment, and promote best practices across customer applications.

Responsibilities include supporting project execution, architecture validation, troubleshooting, and developing reusable assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in industrial automation, application engineering, system integration, or technical project delivery.
Experience supporting customer projects from design through commissioning and startup.
Experience troubleshooting in industrial automation environments.

Responsibilities

Support customers, System Integrators, and project teams throughout the EAE project lifecycle.
Assist design, architecture decisions, and deployment strategies for EAE projects.
Help customers apply EAE best practices and reduce project risk and pitfalls.
Conduct technical reviews to ensure project readiness and successful execution.
Assist during critical phases: FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, deployment.
Develop reusable technical assets and templates for future projects.
Provide technical coaching and workshops to customer teams and partners.
