Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a senior lead designer to supervise a team of designers and drive the electrical and instrumentation deliverables from scope through project closeout. You will guide technical decisions, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role requires deep experience with NEC, load calculations, and equipment specifications for 480VAC and 15kV/5kV systems, including on-site startup support and client

Qualifikationen

• Requires an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD.
• 20+ years of relevant electrical and instrumentation drafting/design experience.
• Familiarity with the NEC and electrical design standards.
• Ability to estimate construction quantities and costs.
• Strong leadership to mentor staff and lead a design team.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation; MS Word/Excel.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of designers and deliver electrical and instrumentation deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Produce 480VAC and 15kV/5kV equipment specifications and installation docs.
• Perform load calculations, conduit and tray routing, and voltage drop checks.
• Assist with on-site startup and client interactions.
• Develop construction cost estimates and project schedules.
