Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks an experienced construction manager to deliver complex projects safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires leadership of a small team, coordination across design, procurement, and field activities, and adherence to engineering standards and project controls.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in industrial construction management, a construction degree, and a preferred General Contractors License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project experience.
• General Contractors License highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to deliver on commitments.
• Promote client relationships and coordinate with design leaders.
• Ensure safety-first planning and contractor performance on site.
• Review vendor drawings, submittals, and construction specifications for conformance.
• Coordinate contractor activities to minimize downtime and ensure schedule adherence.
• Mentor team members and communicate expectations clearly.
