Whole Foods Market is seeking an Associate Team Leader for E-Commerce in Newark, NJ. You will lead a team responsible for grocery delivery and pickup, onboarding and coaching Team Members, maintaining safety, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

You will optimize shift operations and drive process improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience. The role emphasizes safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and engagement, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Ability to onboard and train Team Members on SOPs, staging, quality and safety protocols.
• Provide timely coaching and performance feedback to drive development and engagement.
• Partner with Team Leader to identify high-potential Team Members and create development plans.
• Lead team huddles to communicate priorities and address operational challenges.
• Maintain a safe work environment with proactive hazard identification and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train Team Members on SOPs and safety procedures.
• Provide coaching and feedback to drive skill development and engagement.
• Partner with Team Leader to identify high-potential members and create development plans.
• Lead team huddles, communicate priorities and celebrate wins.
• Maintain safety and food safety protocols through observation and coaching.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Own order accuracy and quality by audits and trend analysis.
• Monitor order times and resolve delays or issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve customer experience.
• Handle substitutions, out-of-stocks, and special requests.
• Optimize shift operations by forecasting and staffing in real time.
