Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member for the NYC-Manhattan/Chelsea location to assist customers, stock merchandise, and support fast, friendly checkout and omnichannel processes.

You will help customers locate products, enroll them in rewards, and participate in truck unload, replenishment, and planogram activities. You will contribute to a safe, well-merchandised store, participate in learning cross-trained framing tasks, and support company policies and standards while

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label credit cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain well-merchandised and in-stock store; handle returns/go backs
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
