Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member for the NYC area to help customers find products, operate a fast checkout, and participate in merchandising duties. You will support BOPIS/SFS processes and assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to maintain an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and engagement with customers on the Rewards program, with cross-training in Custom Framing. Flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and stock in a well-merchandised store.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
