Job summary

Michaels Stores in New York City's Chelsea area is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and manage fast, accurate checkout. You will support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep products in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; handle returns/go-backs.
