Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Assistant Manager of E-commerce in Windsor Heights, IA. You will oversee the full online operation across multiple departments, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment and exemplary customer service.

Lead and coordinate staffing and processes for Aisles Online, food service, pharmacy, and third-party marketplaces, while promoting Hy-Vee Perks+ memberships. This role requires strong communication and computer skills in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; computer and internet proficiency required.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to lead a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full E-commerce operation across departments (Aisles Online, food service, pharmacy, made-to-order, third-party marketplaces).
• Ensure online orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and with quality.
• Monitor order fulfillment, respond to issues, and coordinate with store teams.
• Promote Hy-Vee Perks+ memberships and E-commerce services.
• Manage ordering accuracy, out-of-stock handling, and cancellations.
• Ensure payments are properly tendered in the POS for all orders.
